Pastor Ronnie Ingle
"I think New Life Tabernacle should be a place where someone can find and maintain a vibrant and healthy relationship with God.

It should be a church that loves and cares for people, allowing them to grow and become spiritually mature, while helping them connect with a place of service in God's Kingdom."

Personal Background

Ronnie Ingle was born on March 24, 1972, to Ron and Gail Ingle. He was baptized in Jesus' Name at the age of six in Jacksonville, FL and was filled with the Holy Ghost at the age of fourteen in Durham, NC. He preached his first sermon on his 18th birthday at the United Pentecostal Church of Durham, NC. Pastor Ingle received his local license for the ministry in 1993, his general license in 1997, and was ordained in 2002 at the NC District Conference in Fayetteville, NC. Bishop Jesse Williams officiated at his ordination.

As a teenager, Pastor Ingle was a Bible Quizzer. As captain of the team, he and his teammates placed first in the nation in 1986, fourth in the nation in 1987, and second in the nation in 1988. He was the second highest scoring individual in the nation in 1986 and the Quizzer of the Year in 1990. Pastor Ingle won a scholarship for Bible College and briefly attended Jackson College of Ministries from January through May of 1990. Upon returning home for the summer, he accepted the role of Youth Pastor at his home church.

Pastor Ingle married Lolita Ingle on October 25, 1991. He served as Youth Pastor at the United Pentecostal Church of Durham from 1991 until August 1996, two and a half years of which he was full time on the staff. He left Durham to start a new church in Kernersville.

The church in Kernersville was started at 202 W. Bodenheimer St. and quickly outgrew those small facilities. In September of 1999, the congregation of fifty moved to the current location of 1225 Piney Grove Rd. The staff has grown from Pastor Ingle and his wife to several ministers and their wives. The congregation has grown from zero to well over one hundred every Sunday. The current attendance goal is to average 160 per Sunday. In the fall of 2008, the church family paid off a fifteen year mortgage in less than eight years, and in May of 2009, they purchased 13.29 acres across the street from their present facilities. This new property will serve as the location of their new sanctuary.  In addition to the recent purchase of 13.29 acres, the church has also leased an adjacent acre of property on which a 2,700 square foot home is located as a parsonage for the Youth Pastor and his family.  The lease has an option to buy, with a first right of refusal.  The church plans on purchasing that property, as well.

Education

In August of 2000, Pastor Ingle matriculated at High Point University to study for his undergraduate degree. He graduated summa cum laude, with All University Honors, in May of 2004. He majored in Criminal Justice and minored in Sociology. In August of 2004 he began legal studies at Campbell Law School, but took a year sabbatical due to his wife's battle with cancer. The Lord miraculously healed Sis. Ingle after seven months of chemotherapy treatments. Since April of 2005 she has been cancer-free! Pastor Ingle began working on his Master's in Business Administration until August of 2007, when he was accepted into the evening program of Charlotte School of Law.

On May 14, 2011, Pastor Ingle graduated with a Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from Charlotte School of Law.  He was fourth in his class of 128.  While at Charlotte School of Law, he served on the Law Review as Associate Editor in 2009-2010, and then was elected as Senior Student Works Editor for 2010-2011. Pastor Ingle was a member of the school’s Trial Practice Team and traveled with the team twice to Atlanta, GA, competing in 2010 in the National Trial Competition, and competing in 2011 in the American Association for Justice Competition (AAJ).  He served as the Exchequer for Phi Delta Phi, an international honors society. He also is a member of the Christian Legal Society, as well as the Order of the Crown (Scholastic Leadership Society).   He passed the NC Bar Exam in July and was admitted to the NC Bar on August 25, 2011.  He is admitted to practice in all NC courts.  On September 12, 2011, Pastor Ingle started his own law firm in historic Oak Ridge, NC.  He engages in General Practice.

One of Pastor Ingle's goals is to serve the Kingdom of God as a member of the clergy, as well as a member of the NC and SC State Bar. He has already been a tremendous blessing to several start-up churches by helping them (in the capacity of a law-clerk and understudy to a local attorney) with legal documentation, incorporation papers, issue research, as well as other legal matters. He desires to be a further blessing to church members, churches, pastors, the NC District UPCI, as well as the United Pentecostal Church International.

District Office

From May of 2003 until May of 2007, Pastor Ingle served as Youth President of the NC District. In October of 2004, he was chosen "Youth President of the Year" at the annual General Conference of the UPCI in Salt Lake City, UT. The following year, he was chosen "Third Runner Up" to Youth President of the Year at the annual General Conference of the UPCI in Richmond, VA.  Under his direction, the Youth Committee of the NC District set all time Sheaves For Christ records that have yet to be broken.

Missions

Pastor Ingle loves missions work and has been invited to speak in the countries of Zambia, South Africa, and Puerto Rico.

Family

Pastor Ingle has been married to his beautiful wife since October 25, 1991, and has four wonderful children: Monty, Alita, Devan and Ronnie.  Pastor & Sis. Ingle are childhood sweethearts and both knew as teenagers that the Lord was calling them to a lifetime of ministry.

He is humbled and honored to serve the great congregation of New Life Tabernacle! He is thrilled about the wonderful things developing within the church and looks forward with anticipation to what the Lord has in store for the future!
